Manuela Tempesta è una regista e una sceneggiatrice. Si è formata con alcuni Maestri del Cinema, come Ettore Scola e Marco Bellocchio. I suoi lavori sono stati presentati al Festival di Cannes e hanno ricevuto Menzioni e nomination sia ai Nastri d’Argento che ai David di Donatello. Inoltre, sono andati in onda su Netflix, Sky Arte, Studio Universal, Rai e La7. Ha scritto una trentina di documentari, ha diretto il film “Pane e Burlesque”, il documentario “Ritratti di famiglia” e vari cortometraggi che hanno ricevuto riconoscimenti internazionali, come “Cristallo” (con protagonista Daphne Scoccia), vincitore di molti premi – tra cui il “Premio Universal” – e “I sogni sospesi”, finalista in Festival Internazionali e presentato durante il Festival di Venezia 2019.

Manuela Tempesta is a director and a screenwriter. She trained with some Cinema Masters, such as Ettore Scola and Marco Bellocchio. His works have been presented at the Cannes Film Festival and have received Mentions and nominations for both Nastri d’Argento and David di Donatello. In addition, his works aired on Netflix, Sky Arte, Studio Universal, Rai and La7. She has written about thirty documentaries, directed the film “Pane e Burlesque”, the documentary “Portraits of family” and several short films that have received international awards, such as “Crystal” (starring Daphne Scoccia), winner of many awards – including the “Universal Award” – and “Unfinished Dreams”, finalist in International Festival and presented during the Venice Film Festival 2019.

A partire dal 2013, Manuela Tempesta ha scritto e girato sia film che cortometraggi. I suoi lavori sono stati proiettati in prestigiosi Festival Internazionali e hanno ricevuto numerosi premi e menzioni, sia in Italia che all’estero.

Since 2013, Manuela Tempesta has written and shot both films and short films. His works have been screened in prestigious International Festivals and have received numerous awards and mentions, both in Italy and abroad.

Manuela Tempesta ha scritto oltre trenta documentari, alcuni dei quali sono stati candidati ai David di Donatello (come “Non tacere” e “Ritratto di mio padre”) e hanno vinto delle Menzioni ai Nastri D’Argento (“Ritratto di mio padre” e “Tutte le storie di Piera”). Il documentario “Pietro Germi: il Bravo, il Bello, il Cattivo”, coprodotto da Ascent Film, Blue Film e La7, di cui ha firmato il soggetto, è stato selezionato al Festival di Cannes. I suoi lavori sono andati in onda su Netflix, Rai, La7 e Sky. Nel 2018, dopo aver vinto un bando nella Regione Sardegna, ha scritto e girato il documentario “Ritratti di famiglia”.

Manuela Tempesta has written over thirty documentaries, some of which have been nominated for the David di Donatello (such as “Non tacere” and “Ritratto di mio padre”) and have won the Menzioni ai Nastri D’Argento (“Ritratto di mio padre” and “Tutte le storie di Piera”). The documentary “Pietro Germi: il Bravo, il Bello, il Cattivo”, co-produced by Ascent Film, Blue Film and La7, of which she signed the subject, was selected at the Cannes Film Festival. Her works have aired on Netflix, Rai, La7 and Sky. In 2018, after winning a competition in the Sardinia Region, she wrote and filmed the documentary “Portraits of family”.
